Eighty-Five Maine Student-Athletes Graduate on Saturday
ORONO, Maine--Eighty-five (85) University of Maine Black Bear student-athletes will be participating in graduation this Saturday, May 7 at Alfond Arena in Orono. This group of student-athletes includes those who completed degree requirements in December 2010 and anticipated May 2011, August 2011 and December 2011.
“I would like to congratulate our student-athletes on this tremendous accomplishment,” said Maine Director of Athletics Steve Abbott. “To compete at the highest level athletically and obtain your degree is truly a remarkable achievement. I would like to wish all of our graduates the best of luck in all of their future endeavors.”
