ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine head athletic trainer Ryan Taylor is happy to announce the arrival of two new Certified Athletic Trainers to the staff. The six full time certified athletic trainers with a Graduate Assistant athletic trainer provide care for the 450 athletes at the University of Maine. Rebecca Sanger, ATC and Andilynn Beadles, ATC both joined the Maine staff in August 2014.
Sanger, will be working primarily with women’s soccer and softball. Beadles will work primarily with cross country, women's basketball and track and field.
Originally from Long Beach, New York, Sanger completed her bachelor of science in athletic training at the University of Connecticut in 2011. She then continued her studies at West Virginia University, where she was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at University High School and completed her master’s of science in athletic training in 2013. She then spent a year internship at Binghamton University working primarily with cross country and track and field before coming to the University of Maine.
In her spare time, Sanger enjoys cooking and traveling abroad.
Beadles hails from the beautiful state of Kansas. She completed her bachelor of science in athletic training at the University of Kansas. Beadles then became an intern athletic trainer at Georgia Southern University. After that she moved on to become a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Beadles followed up that experience by working as an intern athletic trainer at Missouri State University for three years working with women’s soccer and track and field.
