Led the team with a .369 batting average... scored 53 runs and drove in 52... had 14 doubles, 13 triples and five home runs... his 13 triples broke a school record set in 1932 when Amel Kizonak his eight... finished tied for second in the nation with 13 triples... swipped 21 of 22 bases on the season... hit for the cycle in Maine’s 9-2 win at Albany (4/11)... finished the game 4-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI... went 5-for-5 with five runs scored and five RBI in Maine’s victory over Penn (3/7)... tied a school record with two triples in the game and also belted a home run... stole four bases in Maine’s victory at NJIT (4/2)... drove in five runs in Maine’s win over Bates (4/20)... named a Maine scholar-athlete award winner and also named to the America East Academic honor roll.
2009: Saw action in 35 games for the Black Bears, making 18 starts... batted .282 with 21 runs scored and 12 RBI... had three doubles, two triples and a pair of home runs... went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and four RBI in Maine’s 11-2 win over Sacred Heart (3/22)... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete *Rising Star*.
