2011:  Started 24 of the 49 games he appeared in... posted a .221 average with 23 hits, including two doubles and a triple... drove in 10 runs... started the season with a 2-for-3 game, stealing a base, against UNLV (2/18)... hit 3-for-5 against Penn. (3/7)... hit 1-for-2 against Saint Peter’s (3/26) with a double and two RBI... went a perfect 3-for-3 with a triple, an RBI, and scored a run against UMBC (4/30)... hit 1-for-2 against Binghamton (5/21), driving in two runs for Maine... Had four hits in three NCAA Regional games...  named a Maine Scholar-Athlete *Rising Star.*... named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.  

BEFORE MAINE: Played for Dave Niro at Franklin High School... team captain in 2010... batted .427 as a senior with 33 stolen bases... as a junior, his .431 with five home runs and 23 stolen bases... in 2009 and 2010 was on the Boston Globe all scholastic team... All-Hockmock league all-star team 2009-2010... team MVP in 2009-2010... named rookie of the year in 2008... born October 17, 1991... son of Chris and Ann Gay... plans to major in political science.
