HEADING INTO 2012: Will compete for time in the outfield... Has good speed and might also be used as a pinch runner.
2011: Saw action in 12 games, earning three starts... finished with a .250 batting average... went 2-for-4 against UNLV (2/19) driving in a run and scoring a run... hit 1-for-3 with a RBI against Rider (3/19)... was 1-for-2 with an RBI against Saint Peters (3/26).
2010: Saw action in seven games... finished 1-for-2 with a run scored and two RBI in Maine’s victory over Thomas (4/7)... belted first career home run in the game.
2009: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
BEFORE MAINE: Played baseball at Thornton Academy for coach Greg Paraclis, where he served as captain as a senior in 2008... named SMAA All-Conference at shortstop... named to the SMAA All-Rookie team... also a standout in football where he was named All-State and played in the Lobster Bowl... born July 19,1989... son of Sandy and Jim Trask... a business major... younger brother, Steve, is also on the team.
