Maine Baseball to Host Spring Training Camp 2013
ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine baseball team will be holding a Spring Training Camp April 15-19, 2013 from 9 AM to 12 noon at the Mahaney Diamond and Mahaney Dome. The camp is open to everyone ages 8-18.
The camp is designed for all levels. Players will be broken up into age specific groups. The goal of the session will be perfecting the fundamentals of the game while simultaneously exposing players to the University of Maine and other college coaches and players. The session will include throwing progression and offensive/defensive instruction from the University of Maine baseball coaches and its players. Each players will be able to perform at his or her primary position.
The cost of the camp is $125.00. Campers are asked to bring spikes, glove, bat, baseball pants and catchers need to bring their own gear.
