Maine baseball fans and alums

My name is Taylor Lewis; I am a junior outfielder from Montville Connecticut. As you might already know we are a couple weeks away from our first game, which will be held in Las Vegas. We have been anxiously waiting for this day to come to show our competition and our fans the talent we have on this years baseball program. Our pitching staff runs deep with many new and old faces that will help tremendously as our season progresses. On the other side, offensively we have an assortment of new
talent, which will play a huge role in the success we will have this season.
As we start our team practices on Friday, January 28, we are all looki
ng forward to finally having the season begin. I want to thank are fans and supporters for making it possible to compete against the best teams in the country and letting us
carry on the Maine baseball tradition.  Maine baseball is a special and elite program to belong to and I feel that we all share that enthusiasm of wanting to do great things this year.
Go Black Bears!

Hello Maine baseball friends and alums!
My name is Joe Miller, I am a senior right handed pitcher from Valley Stream, New York.  I would like to begin by hoping that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and that everyone has a great holiday and New Year as the new year is up and coming.  With the New Year just around the corner this means it is time for a new baseball season to get under way which starts on February 18 as we travel to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for a four game series against the Rebels.  Our team is really excited to get the season underway so that we can bring a championship back to Orono where it belongs as it once did.
We just wrapped up fall ball and we are now in the middle of individuals.  Our team has really come together as a group both on and off the field.  We are doing well inside the classroom as the semester is coming to a close.
Thank you for all of your support and I am really looking forward to seeing all of you at Mahaney Diamond this year on April 1, 2011 when we take on the Bulldogs of Bryant University in our opening home series.
