2007: Saw action in 12 games for the Black Bears, all out of the bullpen... was 1-0 with a 8.27 ERA... picked up the win in Maine's 11-5 victory over Colby (4/24)... pitched a season-high four innings in Maine's game against Villanova (3/4) where he fanned a career-high six batters... named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.
2006: Saw action in four games for the Black Bears... recorded four strikeouts... pitched 1.2 innings in Maine's 10-6 win over Long Island University (3/15) where he fanned a pair of batters.
2005: Sat out the season as a medical redshirt.
2004: Saw action in three games for the Black Bears before suffering a season-ending injury... pitched a scoreless inning in the second game of the season against LaSalle (2/29)... pitched a season-high two innings at Miami (3/4) where he struck out a career-high three batters... also pitched an inning against Wagner (3/6).
BEFORE UMAINE: Earned Mt. Valley All-Conference First Team honors... earned most valuable player honors along with the Coaches Award... captain for Bill Arsenault at Boothbay Regional... fanned 76 batters in 42 innings... finished with a 0.76 ERA... led Boothbay to the Mt. Valley Conference playoffs... also earned All-Conference honors in football... born August 9, 1984... son of Sally and Daniel Carroll... a kinesiology major.
