HEADING INTO 2008: Will compete for time in the outfield and also as the designated hitter. 2007: Named to the America East All-Rookie Team... named America East Rookie of the Week (5/7)... saw action in 41 games for the Black Bears, starting 30 primarily in the outfield and as the designated hitter... hit .318 with 13 runs scored and 15 RBI... had six doubles on the season... was 6-of-7 in stolen base attempts... had a career-high three hits at New Orleans (4/1)... drove in two runs against Penn (3/8), UMBC (4/14) and NYIT (4/22)... scored a pair of runs against UMBC (4/13) and Vermont (5/5).... named to the America East Academic Honor Roll. BEFORE UMAINE: Three-year captain for Pat Mealy at Roy C.
