2007: Switched from third base to shortstop for the Black Bears in 2007... batted .271 with 25 runs scored and 30 RBI... had eight doubles, two triples and four home runs... was 3-for-5 with an RBI against Mount St. Mary's (3/5)... had four RBI against Penn (3/8) including a home run... was 2-for-5 with four RBI in Maine's game at New Orleans (3/31) including hitting a home run... was 2-for-3 with three RBI at Albany (4/28)... batted 3-for-4 against Vermont (5/5)... was 2-for-3 with three runs scored and three RBI in Maine's 16-3 win at Hartford (5/14)... belted a pair of home runs in the game... had two RBI in the season-finale against Binghamton in the America East Tournament... also saw action in four games on the mound, earning a start against NYIT (4/22)... was 0-3 with an 8.22 ERA... went 5.1 innings against NYIT (4/22) where he struck out a career-high three batters in the game.

NCAA Chapel Hill All-Regional Team... selected to the Baseball America All-Freshman Second Team... named to Rivals.com Freshman All-America Second Team... saw action in 56 games for the Black Bears during his rookie season, starting 54... batted .369 with 39 runs scored and a team-leading 64 RBI... had 12 doubles, one triple and 10 home runs... had a .591 slugging percentage and a .430 on-base percentage... led America East with 64 RBI... ranked 46th in the nation in RBI per game, averaging 1.14 per game... ranked third in the conference and 128th in the country in batting average (.369).. his 10 home runs were also third in America East... was fourth in America East in hits (73) and slugging percentage (.591) and seventh in on-base percentage (.430)... his 64 RBI in 2006 rank fifth all-time in a season and tops in Maine history among rookies... had a team-best 15 game hitting streak on the season... was second on the team with 17 multi-RBI games, including four games in which he had four RBI... had 19 multi-hit games, including a four-hit game... went 3-for-4 with a run scored in his first collegiate game against #19-ranked Ole Miss (3/25)... drove in four runs in Maine's 14-2 win over Penn (3/10)... followed that up with a run scored and four RBI in Maine's game against Penn the following day (3/11)... was 3-for-7 with three runs scored and three RBI in Maine's win over Maryland Eastern Shore (4/1)... started a span of three straight games where he drove in three runs in each game... was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBI in Maine's NCAA Regional game against national runner-up North Carolina... belted a pair of home runs in the game... followed that up by going 3-for-6 with two runs scored and four RBI against UNC Wilmington the following day... also smacked a home run in the game to finish the regional with a .500 batting average, four runs scored, eight RBI and three home runs... either scored a run or drove in one in 42-of-56 games on the season... batted .467 with the bases loaded, recording seven hits in 15 at-bats.
