Men's Basketball Hosts Siena on Sunday at 2 p.m.

ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine men's basketball team hosts Siena on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Alfond Arena. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling 581-BEAR or by going online at www.GoBlackBearsTickets.com.

Storylines

The University of Maine men's basketball team (0-4) hosts the Siena Saints from the MAAC.

The Black Bears are coming off a 76-49 loss to Big East-foe Seton Hall.

Junior forward Alasdair Fraser notched 13 points and eight rebounds while sophomore guard Justin Edwards had 18 and a game-high five assists. 

Siena is coming off a 77-60 loss at San Diego.

O.D. Anosike had 19 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Saints.

Maine and Siena last played on Feb. 19, 2011 with Siena taking the win 71-60. 

Current Black Bears Mike Allison and Alasdair Fraser both saw action in that contest, with Allison contributing four points, five rebounds and a steal.

Maine's Fraser is looking for his fifth-consecutive game to open the season with at least eight rebounds. 

Edwards is looking for his fourth-consecutive game with four or more assists.

Fraser and Mike Allison have both had at least one block in the first four games this season.
