Storylines

The University of Maine men's basketball team (2-4) travels to take on Atlantic-10 member Duquesne (3-3).

The Black Bears are coming off a 76-73 win over CAA member Northeastern.

Justin Edwards scored a career-high 30 points on 11-12 shooting while Alasdair Fraser added 20 points and Xavier Pollard gave out seven assists.

Duquesne is coming off a 73-32 win over Appalachian State.

Jerry Jones had a game-high 22 points to lead the Dukes.

Edwards is one point shy of 500 for his career and looking for his fifth-consecutive double-digit scoring effort while Fraser is looking for his fourth.

It is the first meeting between the two sides, although Maine has victories over fellow Atlantic-10 schools Fordham (76-73 in 2009), UMass (68-56 in 2010) and Rhode Island (76-74 in 2011) in recent years.

Maine's point guard Xavier Pollard has 19 assists in the last two games, and should he keep his average of 5.0 apg, it would be the most since Eric Dobson averaged 6.0 apg during the 2003-04 season.
