Men's Basketball Travels to Take on ACC Champion Florida State

ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine men's basketball team travels to take on defending ACC champion Florida State on Sunday at 4 p.m. The game will be televised live on ESPNU and WatchESPN.com.

Storylines

The University of Maine men's basketball team (3-5) travels to take on the defending Atlantic Coast Conference Champions Florida State Seminoles (4-4).

The Black Bears are coming off a 97-42 win over Fisher. 

Maine had six players in double figures and leading the way was Alasdair Fraser who notched his second double-double of the season with 13 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and two blocks.

Florida State is coming off a 72-47 loss to #5 Florida. 

Michael Snaer had 10 points and four assists to lead the Seminoles.

Maine and Florida State last played on Dec. 8, 2007, a 95-55 Seminole win.

Maine last played an Atlantic Coast Conference team on Jan. 2, 2010, when the Black Bears defeated Boston College 52-51.

Mike Allison had five points, two rebounds and a block in that game.

Fraser has scored in double digits in five-consecutive games and grabbed at least eight rebounds in seven out of the first eight games.

Edwards is averaging 19 points per game through the last six games while notching 15 steals in those contests.
