Men's Basketball Travels to Marist

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The University of Maine men's basketball team plays at Marist in the Black Bears' third-straight road contest. The game can be heard live on the Black Bear Sports Network.



The University of Maine men's basketball team (3-7) travels to take on the Marist Red Foxes (3-6) in the Black Bears' third-consecutive road contest.

The Black Bears are coming off a 96-67 loss at Army.

Maine was led by Justin Edwards who had 18 points while Xavier Pollard had nine points and five assists and Alasdair Fraser had six points, three assists and a game-high 11 rebounds. 

Marist is coming off a 94-82 loss to Canisius. 

Devin Price had 25 points while Adam Kemp added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Last season in Orono, Marist defeated Maine 77-71 in a BracketBusters matchup.

Mike Allison had a double-double in that game with 12 points and 12 rebounds while Justin Edwards added 12 points and three assists.

Fraser has grabbed at least eight rebounds in nine out of 10 games this season. 

Edwards is averaging 18.9 points per game through the last eight games.
