Warren Smith Earns Weekly Award

ORONO, Maine – University of Maine quarterback Warren Smith has been named the College Sports Madness CAA Player of the Week.

Smith, a senior from Forked River, N.J., completed 27-of-45 passes for 334 yards and three scores against FBS Big East foe Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Smith led the Black Bears on a comeback as they nearly defeated Pittsburgh, eventually falling by the score of 35-29.

Maine continues play on Saturday at Albany.
