Football Team Hosting Fifth Annual Jeff Cole Bone Marrow Drive on Wednesday!

ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine football team will hold its fifth annual Jeff Cole Bone Marrow Drive on Wednesday, April 25 from 12 – 4 p.m. in the Bangor Room at the Memorial Union, on the campus of the University of Maine.

The process takes only a few minutes and requires just a swab from the inside of the cheek to be put on the registry. Donations of bone marrow are life saving treatments used to treat several types of cancers and other serious illnesses.

The Drive is in memory of former Black Bear coach Jeff Cole, who passed away on October 18, 2004, after a multi-year battle with cancer.
