ORONO, Maine – University of Maine football standout Derek Session became the school's fifth player to get the call from the NFL.
Session got invited to the Buffalo Bills rookie mini-camp alongside teammate Derek Buttles.
Session was an All-CAA selection in 2010 when he made 50 catches for 580 yards and a score.
This season, Session made 38 catches for 398 yards and two scores while playing multiple positions for the offense.
Session gives Maine a program-record five players that will be participating in NFL camps, joining Jerron McMillian (Green Bay Packers), Trevor Coston (Chicago Bears), Pushaun Brown (New York Jets) and Buttles.
