Justin Perillo Inks Free Agent Deal With Green Bay Packers
ORONO, Maine -- Justin Perillo (Wilmington, Del.) signed a free agent contract with the Green Bay Packers, Saturday night. Perillo was the second Maine football senior to join an NFL team, joining Kendall James, who was drafted in the sixth round of the NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings.
Perillo, a two-time All-Colonial Athletic Association first team selection, was named an Associated Press third team All-American following the 2013 season. In 2013, Perillo recorded 39 catches for 490-yards and four touchdowns. Perillo, who averaged 44.5 yards per game, went over the 100 catch mark and 1,000 yard receiving mark for his career in Maine's game at Northwestern.
For his career, Perillo hauled in 128 catches for 1,318 yards and 15 touchdowns in 44 games.
