Hockey Banquet and Auction Set for May 6
The Friends of Maine Hockey salute the 2010-2011 University of Maine
Men's Hockey Team with the annual Awards Banquet. Join them in
celebrating and to say good-bye to the seniors at the annual
University of Maine Men's Hockey Banquet on Friday, May 6 at Jeff's
Catering in Brewer. The cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with the
buffet dinner following. The banquet is open to the public.
The fast-paced live auction and the popular silent auction will
feature dozens of items including autographed NHL items from former
Black Bears, more historic memorabilia from UMaine hockey vaults and
great gifts from area merchants. The Senior Road Jerseys will be
auctioned to the highest bidder. All funds collected go directly to
the Men's Hockey Program.
Come and meet the team one last time! Get those autographs you've
been hoping to get and enjoy an evening with the Maine Black Bears,
coaches, and fellow hockey enthusiasts! The evening is sure to be
filled with poignant tributes, amazing stories and plenty of laughter.
Individual tickets are $35 each. Tables of eight can be reserved for
$280. All reservations must be made by Friday, April 22. Checks are
to be made out to the University of Maine and should be sent to

Sponsorships of the event are available in any amount. For amounts of
$1,000 and above, you will also receive 4 complimentary seats at a
table. For amounts of $250-$999, you will receive 2 complimentary
