IN 2010–11: Saw action in 13 games his rookie season... Finished with three assists... Scored his first collegiate point when he picked up an assist on Spencer Abbott’s goal at Providence (12/3)... The assist came when O’Connor was playing a shift against his brother, Ian, who was a senior captain for the Friars... Also had assists in games against New Hampshire (12/10) and UMass (12/12)... Named a Maine Scholar-Athlete *Rising Star*... Also named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
BEFORE MAINE: Assistant captain for Sean Trembley and the New Hampshire Monarchs during the 2009-10 season... Scored six goals and added 28 assists for 34 points... Team finished as 2009-10 EJHL Champions... Named the EJHL Defensive Player of the Year... In 2008-09 had 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points... Team finished as Tied III Junior National Champions.
