Everything You Need to Know About Maine's Quarterfinal Series at UMass Lowell
Games Date and Times:
#8 seed University of Maine, by virtue of its 3-point weekend over New Hampshire, will visit top seed UMass Lowell Thursday, Friday, and if necessary, Sunday in a best of three Hockey East Quarterfinal series at Tsongas Arena in Lowell, Mass. Thursday and Friday's games are scheduled for 7PM. Sunday's time is TBA.
Tickets:
The University of Maine Athletic Ticket Office has a limited number of tickets for the Maine fan section. Call 581-BEAR or 1-800-765-TEAM for ticket information or stop by the Athletic Ticket Office located in Alfond Arena. Tickets through the Maine Athletic Ticket Office are only available through Tuesday at 4PM. Tickets are also available through GoRiverHawks.com or the Tsongas Center ticket office at 1-866-722-8780.
Bus Trip:
Your Black Bear Men's Hockey team takes on UMass-Lowell in the Hockey East Quarterfinals! We're planning a bus trip to the games this Thursday and Friday, March 14th and 15th, and the price is $85 per person, which includes transportation and tickets to both games! We can also offer a discount on hotel rooms for those who are part of the bus trip. The bus will leave Orono late Thursday morning and head back after Friday night's game.

Pregame Party:
The Black Bears of Boston and Friends of Maine Hockey invite Black Bear fans to join them in a pregame party at the Lowell Beer Works on 203 Cabot Street in Lowell on Thursday night. On Friday and Sunday if necessary, the pregame gathering will be in the North Room at the Tsongas Center. The party starts at 5PM both nights.
Radio/TV: The games will be broadcast on the Black Bear Sports Radio Network 94.5FM and on GoBlackBears.com. Check out GoBlackBears.com for a complete list of radio affiliates. The Hockey East TV schedule has not been announced yet. Video streaming is available for a fee through the Hockey East website.
