Men Swimming and Diving Seniors will be recognized at their last home meet against Bates.

Seniors Robbie Bickford (Milford, Maine), Caleb Hoffman (Waterville, Maine), Cody Lachance (Winslow, Maine) Joey Quinn (Bangor, Maine), Brent Williams (Clifton, Maine) and Kenny Regan (Hollis, N.H.) will be recognized before Saturdays meet as they swim at home for the last time.

Bickford was named to America East Commissioner's Honor Roll and Maine Academic Rising Star as a freshman. As a sophomore Bickford was named A Maine Scholar Athlete Bronze Medalist and made America East Commissioner Honor roll for the second time. Bickford helped set a new school record as a junior at the America East Champions in the 400-yard medley relay. He is also president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

Hoffman finished second in the 100-yard backstroke against Boston College earlier this season. He helped his team to a first place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay against URI.

Lachance is a co-captain of the men's team. As a junior he placed seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke at America East Championships. As a sophomore he was named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll as well as a Maine Scholar-Athlete Bronze Medalist. As a freshman Lachance was named men's swimming most improved performer as well as a Maine Academic Rising Star.

Quinn is a co-captain of the men's team. As a junior he placed eighth in the 50-yard freestyle at America East Championships. As a freshman Quinn competed in the America East Championships in the 50-yard freestyle.

Regan as a freshman competed in the America East Championships. As a sophomore Regan competed in three events in the 2011-12 America East Championships.

Williams is a co-captain of the men's team for the second year. As a freshman and sophomore he competed in three events in the America East Championships.  In the 2012-13 America East Championships Williams finished seventh in the 400-yard IM and eighth in the 1650 freestyle.

The Men have been off to a great start on the season including winning the URI Invitational last weekend.

 

Saturdays meet with begin at 11:00am. The ceremony for the seniors will take place at 10:50.
