Trevor England and Frank Del Duca Lead Men's Track at Dartmouth
HANOVER, N.H. -- Frank Del Duca and Trevor England each won events in IC4A-qualifying marks to lead the men's track and field team at Dartmouth.
Del Duca took top honors in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.98 in the finals after placing second in the preliminary round. He cut his time by nearly a tenth of a second in the finals. Del Duca also placed second in the 200 meters with a time of 23.09 and was on the winning 4X400 relay team that had a time of 3:24.40.
England easily qualified for the IC4A Championships with distance of 48-05.25 in the triple jump, winning by over five feet. He also won the long jump with a distance of 21-02.75.
Freshman Joseph Viola won the 400 meters with a time of 51.06 while fellow rookie Jake Leithiser won the 500 meters with a time of 1:06.92.
Alexander Moser won the mile in a time of 4:21.61 and Wilson Adams took top honors in the weight throw with a distance of 54-05.25.
Maine placed second in the meet with 62 points, two shy of Dartmouth.
