Track and Field Competes in Day One of the NCAA Eastern Regionals

TALLAHASSEE, Florida.--The University of Maine track and field teams competed in day one of the NCAA Eastern Regionals hosted by Florida State on Friday. On the women's side, Allyson Howatt (Fredericton, New Brunswick) competed in the 200 meter dash and Vicki Tolton (Smithers, British Columbia) competed in the 400 meter dash. On the men's side, Jeff Ramos (Turner, Maine) competed in the high jump and Matthew Holman (Gardiner, Maine) ran in the 400 meter hurdles. The track and field teams finish competition tomorrow in the final day of the NCAA Eastern Regional.
