Masters Finishes Seventh at New England Championships

BOSTON, Mass. -- The University of Maine men's cross country team placed ninth at the 2010 New England Championships on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. Riley Masters (Bangor, Maine) paced the Black Bears with a seventh place finish with in the race. He completed the course in 24:41. 

David Currier (Sidney, Maine) finished 24th overall with a time of 25:18. Spencer McElwain (Caribou, Maine) placed 58th with a time of 27:06. Kelton Cullenburg (Farmington, Maine) was 104th in 26:14, while Jason Kaake (Phippsburg, Maine) was 167th in 26:46. 

The Black Bears return to action on Saturday, Oct. 30 when they compete in the New England Championships.
