Former Coach Joanne P. McCallie to Hold Book Signings in Maine

ORONO, Maine -- Former University of Maine women's basketball Head Coach Joanne P. McCallie has written a book titled "Choice Not Chance: Rules for Building a Fierce Competitor" and will be holding book signings at two Maine locations.

McCallie will be at Books.A.Millon stores signing her new book. Coach Palombo-McCallie will be at the South Portland B.A.M. location on Friday, April 27th at 6 p.m. and will appear at the Bangor location (previously Borders near the Mall) on Saturday, April 28th at 2 p.m. Current Coach Richard Barron will be introducing Palombo-McCallie at 2 p.m. at the Bangor B.A.M. signing.

Coach Palombo-McCallie spent eight seasons at the helm of the Women's Basketball program and led the Black Bears to six consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.

Copies of her book will be available there to buy and get signed. Coach Palombo-McCallie will also be doing a reading and answering questions at each location.
