Student-Athletes to Raise Cancer Awareness at Saturday's Football Game
ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine field hockey team will be raising cancer awareness during Saturday's homecoming football game against Rhode Island. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
The Black Bears will have a table set up where they will be raffling off two signed footballs as well as other donated gifts. Donations will be accepted throughout the game. In addition, members of the swimming and diving teams will be circulating throughout the stands accepting donations from the Black Bear fans in attendance.
The Black Bears invite all fans and community members to come out and support this special cause on Saturday afternoon. All of your help is greatly appreciated. Go Black Bears!
