Brittany Ott Named Co-Defensive Player of the Week
Brittany Ott (St. Clair Shores, Mich.) was given the honor of
Co-Defensive Player of the Week as named by Hockey East. Ott Helped
the Black Bears to a 1-0-1 weekend with a 1-1 draw on Friday
against Connecticut and a 3-2 overtime win against Providence on
Sunday.
Ott made 25 saves on the 26 shots she faced during Friday’s
contest and 26 of the 28 shots she faced at the end of
Sunday’s win. With the combined 51 saves on the 54 shots, Ott
earned a .944 save percentage during the two games, bringing her
season save percentage to .920 and her goals against average to
2.36.
The Black Bears will return to action on Saturday, February 4, when
they will host Vermont for a two game series. Saturday’s game
will start at 2 p.m. and Sunday’s game has a start time of 3
p.m.
