Brittany Ott Named Hockey East Goalie of the Month

Brittany Ott (St. Clair Shores, Mich.) earned Goalie of the Month Honors from Hockey East for her stellar performance during the month of January.

Ott tallied a record of 3-1-1 during the month with a 1.76 goals against average and a .940 save percentage. She made a total of 142 saves on the 151 shots that opponents sent at her. Two of her wins came on the road when the Black Bears swept Boston University for the first time in the program’s history. She made 66 saves in the series, including 44 in game two. She picked up her third win in an overtime victory against Providence after making 26 saves.

The Black Bears will return to action when they host Vermont for a two game series starting Saturday, February 4, at 2 p.m. Sunday’s game will start at 3 p.m.
