Dubuc Named America East Rookie of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- University of Maine redshirt freshman Christine Dubuc (Blainville, Quebec) was named the America East Rookie of the Week on Monday. Dubuc led Maine to a 6-0 victory over Stony Brook last Thursday.

Dubuc scored three goals and added an assist in Maine's game against the Seawolves last week. Dubuc assisted on Nikki Misener's (Burlington, Ontario) goal before scoring the next three goals for the Black Bears. Dubuc finished the game with seven points. 

The goals were the first three of her career. 

Maine wrapped up the 2011 campaign over the weekend.
