On Saturday, May 11, the University of Maine will hold its commencement where many Black Bear student-athletes will receive their degrees. Below are student-athlete thoughts as they reflect on their time at the University of Maine.
Women's Soccer to Host Clinic on April 17

Join the University of Maine women's soccer team coaches and players for a free soccer clinic over April vacation. The clinic is open to anyone ages 3-9. Have fun learning new skills and playing soccer. Participants are asked to pre-register by April 15.
Maine Honors Scholar-Athletes for Academic Achievement

The University of Maine announced on Thursday that 250 student-athletes will be honored and recognized for their success in the classroom at the Scholar-Athlete Recognition ceremony on Monday, March 25, 2013. One-hundred sixty five student-athletes will be recognized as Scholar-Athletes for achieving a 3.0 or better grade point average for the 2012 year and/or having a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Eighty-five first-year student-athletes will also be honored as *Rising Stars* for earning a 3.0 or better in their first semester at Maine. The Scholar-Athletes and *Rising Stars* total 250, over half of the student-athletes at the University of Maine.
Women's Soccer Announces Six Signees for 2013

Achille Heading to U-20 Team Canada National Excel Camp

Orono, Maine – University of Maine women’s soccer player Charlene Achille (Longueuil, Quebec) has made the roster for the Team Canada U-20 National Team. The National Excel camp will take place from March 16-25 in Portland, Oregon.

The University of Maine women's soccer team is hosing a co-ed soccer tournament which is open to all UMaine students on April 14, 2013 in the Mahaney Dome.
