Meagan Price-Leibenzeder Named America East Rookie of the Week

ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine women's soccer keeper Meagan Price-Leibenzeder (Surrey, British Columbia) was named the America East Rookie of the Week on Monday, October 19.
Price-Leibenzeder recorded a pair of shutouts on the week. She recorded a 1-0 victory over Hartford on Thursday where she made two saves. She followed that up with a 2-0 victory over New Hampshire on Sunday where she stopped three shots.
Price-Leibenzeder moved to 6-5-2 on the season with the two wins. The shutouts were the fouth and fifth of the season for Price-Leibenzeder. She lowered her goals against average to 1.06 on the season.
Price-Leibenzeder and the Black Bears return to action on Thursday, Oct. 22 when they host Stony Brook in the final home game of the regular season. Kick-off is scheduled for 3 PM.
