Ashley Kelley Named to College Sports Madness All-Conference Second Team

ORONO, Maine -- Senior hurler Ashley Kelley (Hermon, Maine) has been named to the College Sports Madness America East All-Conference Second Team, as announced by the website on Monday afternoon.

Kelley is 8-11 on the season with a 2.77 ERA in 28 appearances, including 23 starts. The senior from Hermon, Maine has struck out 75 batters in 151.2 innings to go along with 14 complete games. Kelley is currently riding a seven game undefeated streak in which she has gone 3-0 and lowered her ERA from 3.21 to 2.77.

The Black Bears will now travel to Boston University to play the #1 seeded Terriers in the opening round of the 2012 America East Tournament. Maine will face Boston University on Thursday, May 10 at 1 p.m.
