The Ladyjacks broke the 1-1 tie with three unearned runs in the top of the sixth and tacked on another unearned score in the top of the seventh to take a 5-1 lead. Maine was unable to score in the home half of the seventh as Stephen F. Austin came away with the 5-1 victory.
