Day 1 Results from ECAC Championships

Final Stats

Pittsburgh, PA - The University of Maine men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed at the ECAC Championships at the University of Pittsburgh Friday.

Junior Colleen Miller took a day off from freestyle events and earned a fourth place finish in the 200 yard IM, finishing in a time of 2:10.24. In the same event Kerstin Fenton placed 15th overall at 2:14.32.

The women's 200 yard freestyle relay team consisting of Miller, Fenton, Caitlin Shelley, and Mackenzie Grobmyer garnished an eighth place finish earlier in the meet.

Shelley, Grobmyer, and Kiki O'Donnell all competed in the 500 yard freestyle prelims.

Jeremy Bender placed 30th in the men's 500 yard freestyle prelims, finishing at 4:59.13. Bender also competed with Kevin Staples, Tyler Isherwood, and Jamie Young in the 200 yard freestyle relay.
