Rachel Wilkinson Leads Women's Track at UNH

DURHAM, N.H. -- Rachel Wilkinson won the mile to lead the University of Maine women's track and field team at the New Hampshire Tri-Meet over the weekend.

Wilkinson won in a time of 5:28.18, edging out the runner-up by less than a second.

The Black Bears went 2-3 in the 3,00 meters with Monique Boutin and Marybeth Kelson notching times of 11:04.51 and 11:05.22, respectively.

Ashton Weiler was third in the 800 meters with a time of 2:24.35 while Angela Stakus took second in the 55 hurdles with a time of 8.64.

Arthur Von Marschall won the 55 hurdles in 7.99 to lead the men's side.

August Ibekilo took third in the 55 meters with a time of 6.85 while Herby Lafortune was third in the triple jump with a leap of 39-06.00.
