O'Brien Leads Women's Track at Final Day of America East Indoor Championships
BOSTON, Mass. – Jillian O'Brien had a pair of top-8 finishes to lead the University of Maine women's track and field at day two the America East Indoor Track and Field Championships.
O'Brien was seventh in the 60 meters with a time of 7.89 and was fifth in the 200 with a time of 25.18. Both are top-10 school marks.
Nicole Castilloux was fourth in the 60 with a top-10 school time of 7.80 while Mary Scanlan was sixth in the 800 with a mark of 2:15.07.
Jennifer Lucy was sixth in the 1,000 meters with a top-10 school time of 2:56.89 while Jesse Labreck took third in the triple jump with a distance of 38-09.75.
The Black Bears continue their season next weekend at the New England Championships.
