Corey Conner Places 12th at NCAA Championships

ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine women's track and field standout Corey Conner placed 12th in the 5,000 meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships hosted by the University of Arkansas on Friday night.

Conner, a senior from West Townsend, Mass., ran the 5,000 in a time of 16:02.44. Already the school-record holder in the event, Conner's time ranks among the top-3 in program history.

Between cross country and track, it was Conner's fifth NCAA Championship meet for the two-time track All-American.
