Lucy Takes the Win to Lead Women's Cross Country Against UNH and Husson
ORONO, Maine – Jennifer Lucy took the lead early and cruised to a win to lead the Maine women's cross country team against New Hampshire and Husson on Friday on the campus of the University of Maine.
Lucy took top honors by nine seconds with a time of 18:32 for the five kilometer course. She was followed in second by freshman Carolyn Stocker with a time of 18:41.
Rachel Wilkinson took seventh with a time of 19:20 while Kourtney Bonsey was eighth with a time of 19:22.
The Maine women placed second as a team with 29 points, just behind New Hampshire with 27. Husson took third with 82.
