Riley Masters and Carolyn Stocker Lead Cross Country Teams at New England Championships

BOSTON, Mass. - University of Maine men's cross country standout Riley Masters took runner-up honors to lead the men's cross country team to a 10th place finish at the New England Championships in Franklin Park on Saturday. Carolyn Stocker placed 30th to lead the women's team to a 19th place finish.

Masters completed the 4.95 mile course in 24:34 to take second. He was followed by Taylor Phillips in 42nd with a time of 25:49 while David Currier took 50th with a time of 25:57.

Stocker completed the five kilometer course in 18:36 to take 30th. Jennie Lucy was 74th in 19:14 while Kourtney Bonsey was 141st in 20:07.
