Corey Conner Leads All Runners In First Race

Amherst, MA – The University of Maine women's cross country team lost the first meet of the season today to UMass Amherst by a score of 26-33. Corey Conner (West Townsend, Massachusetts) led all racers today with a time of 17:28.29.

Annabelle Wilson (Geelong, Australia) finished in third place with a time of 20:00.28 and Carolyn Stocker (Westfield, Massachusetts) had a sixth place finish posting a 20:10.45 time.

The Black Bears had twelve runners today that posted an overall time of 1:39:49.95 and an average runner time of 19:57.99.

Maine will travel to New Hampshire on September 14 for a 2:00 pm meet against the University of New Hampshire.
