Women's Cross Country Places Fifth in New Hampshire
Durham, NH – The University of Maine women's cross country team placed fifth in the 5k race this afternoon. Corey Conner (West Townsend, MA) finished first overall for the second straight meet this afternoon in Durham, New Hampshire.
Conner posted a time of 16:31.45 which was nearly one minute faster than the runner up. Annabelle Wilson (Geelong, Australia) crossed the finish line in 13th place, with a time of 18:08.64.
The Black Bears had 13 runners compete today for an overall time of 1:31:27.97 and an average runner time of 18:17.60.
The Black Bears will compete again Friday, September 21 in Orono, Maine. This event will be the only home event for Maine. The race is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM.
