Women's Cross Country Falls to New Hampshire At Home
ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine women's cross country team lost a dual meet to New Hampshire on Friday afternoon 16-45. Annabelle Wilson (Geelong, Australia) was the top Maine finisher with a time of 18:20. New Hampshire's Chelsy Serrano won the race in a time of 17:51.2.
New Hampshire took the top four spots in the meet. Black Bear junior Carolyn Stocker (Westfield, Mass.) was seventh overall with a time of 18:28. She was followed byMonique Boutin (York, Maine) who finished with a mark of 18:44. Rachel Wilkinson (South Portland, Maine) completed the course in 18:48, while Shannon O'Neil (Milan, N.H.) rounded out the scoring for the Black Bears with a time of 19:41.
The Black Bears return to action on Oct. 12 when they travel to Boston, Mass. for a meet at Franklin Park.
