Hart finishes first as Day 2 concludes

Kingston, RI - The University of Maine's women's swim team took on Day 2 of the University of Rhode Island Invite on Friday.

After two days of action, Maine currently holds third place with a total of 212 points.

In the 200-yard IM, Ainslie Boswell took home second place in her heat with a time of 2:09.11 and Charlie Hoover took home third place in her heat with a time of 2:09.13.

Kennady Hart took home first place in her heat during the 50-yard Freestyle with a time of 23.35. While Hannah Deigan took home second in her heat with a time of 24.25.

The team of Kennady Hart, Hannah Deighan, Liz Stoelzel and Mia Poirier took home fourth place with a time of 1:36.11 in the 200-yard Freestyle Relay.

In the 500-yard Freestyle, Nicolene Harkins took home fourth place in her heat with a time of 5:01.36.
