ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine Men's Ice Hockey team has announced its 2016-17 schedule. The Black Bears are set to play 36 games throughout the upcoming season, 20 of which are home games with 17 at Alfond Arena and three in Portland. Times are to be announced at a later date.

Maine has 14 out of conference games this season against the following: St. Francis Xavier, RPI, Quinnipiac, Miami (Ohio), Colgate, Brown, AIC, UNH and the U-18 USA Hockey National Team Development Program. Maine opens its Hockey East schedule against the same opponent as last season, Boston College, on November 4 in Portland at the Cross Insurance Arena. The final regular season matchup will be played against Northeastern in a weekend series finale at Alfond Arena on February 24 & 25.
