Football Hosts New Hampshire in 100th Meeting for Brice-Cowell Musket
ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine football teams hosts the University of New Hampshire in the 100th meeting between the two sides in a battle for the Brice-Cowell Musket, as well as the Black Bears' Homecoming game.

The University of Maine football team (2-4, 1-2) hosts arch rival New Hampshire (5-2, 3-1) in the 100th meeting between the two sides in the battle for the Brice-Cowell Musket as well as Maine's Homecoming.
Maine is coming off a 24-19 setback at #17 Towson.
LB Troy Eastman made seven tackles and returned an interception 92 yards for a touchdown while QB Marcus Wasilewski had 219 total yards and WR Arthur Williams caught six passes for 57 yards.
The Wildcats are coming off a 44-40 shootout win over Richmond.
RB Nico Steriti rushed for 122 yards and a score on 15 carries while WR R.J. Harris caught five passes for 94 yards and two scores.
New Hampshire's LB Matt Evans, the reigning National Defensive Player of the Year, made a game-high 16 tackles including 1.5 tackles-for-loss and broke up two passes.
Last season in Durham, with the CAA title on the line, New Hampshire took the win 30-27; WR Damarr Aultman caught a game-high 12 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown while LB Troy Russell notched an interception and recovered a fumble.
The last five games in the series have decided by four points or less, with three of the games having conference or division title implications.
