BOSTON, Mass. -- The honors continue for University of Maine men's ice hockey standouts Ben Hutton (Prescott, Ontario) and Devin Shore (Ajax, Ontario). On Wednesday, Hutton was named the recipient of the Bob Monahan Award, presented annually to the top defenseman in New England. It is the second season in a row that Shore has led the team in scoring. He has 20 career goals and 49 assists for 69 points in 73 career games, having never missed a game the past two years. Following the season, Shore was selected captain of the 2014-15 team.

Shore was named Hockey East Player of the Week twice this season and earned Hockey East Player of the Month honors in December. He ranks tied for fourth in the nation in short-handed goals with three, 10th in assists per game, averaging .83 per contest and tied for 15th in the nation in points per game, recording 1.23 per contest.
